Design an Ad and Weekly Competition number 12
Congratulations to Caitlin Palmer who came third with her design for Irene Mall. The overall winner was from Wierda Park Laerskool with his design for Hokaai Butchery. This will be included in a supplement in the Rekord this week or next. Well done to all our pupils who entered there were some stunning designs. Sadly Jack's Paint and Plumb it wood it pulled out of the competition at the last minute and there could be no winners.

Winners
Congratulations to Tristan Elliot 5H and Jenna Frenzel 4T who won the "Guess who this grade 6 is"competition. I decided to give them each a Marvellous Creations chocolate as they both guessed 17 out of 18 right. The correct answers are on the notice board. Well done this was an epic competition!
Watch the notice board for our Artist of the week. This week it is Pablo Picasso. The idea is to develop the children's knowledge of Art History.

weekly competition number 10
Good morning all. Welcome back to an already chilly 2nd term.
We kicked of the term with a slightly more complicated competition. I put the top 18 Grade 6 Monochrome self portraits up on the printing room window. Congratulations to these grade 6's who have really done a great job! Pupils have to correctly identify each artist. First correctly completed list will win a slab of chocolate. I see children have teamed up and there is a buzz on the corridor. Game on!
