This week and next is hand in week for the Grade 4,5 and 6 calligrams. Children who have not managed to complete in the allocated time can catch up on Tuesday or Wednesday next week from 13h30 to 15h00 in the Art room. I will be posting pictures of the best projects next week.

What Is It?

Whether you’re an artist, art enthusiast or collector, take part in Night of 1000 Drawings event. This art exhibition will raise funds for child education. The artworks will be sold at R150 per artwork which means you can get yourself an original by the famous artists of tomorrow and support a good cause as well. There will be food, drinks and live entertainment as well. This event is open for everyone so bring the family along too.

Pottery club

Having fun on Valentine's day. Learning how to roll clay into slabs and create shapes. Using doilies to create textures.

Art Competition

Last year we had 20 children entering and 6 in the top 20 with 4 prize winners. I would like to encourage our students to enter this. I will be running with it during Art club but pupils may work at home as long as it is there own work.  Entry forms can be collected from me .
